Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart Gluten Free

Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart Gluten Free

What better way to get back into baking than with this Gluten Free Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart! It was really therapeutic being able to do something I love, even though I needed some help with baking (I’ll be limited with moving for some time yet following my back surgeries).

If you want to impress friends over dessert I’d highly recommend you make this tart! It’s seriously restaurant worthy, but quite rich so you only need a small slice.

Thanks to the Life Made Simple Blog for the original recipe that slightly modified to be gluten free and to my husband for helping me in the kitchen as always.

Thanks for stopping by,

Gluten Free Easter Bark

Gluten Free Easter Bark

This weeks recipe is Gluten Free Easter Bark. It’s a simple and tasty way to use up your leftover Easter eggs. Though I’m a little late for this year, you could also make some to gift to loved ones or take it to work if you really want chocolate out of the house!

Speaking of Easter recipe being a little late though… If you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed I’ve been unwell recently. I underwent spinal surgery a 1½ weeks ago and it’s been a little tough for me and my family being so immobile. I didn’t get the chance to mentally/physically prepare for the surgery or the slow recovery process so bear with me if my blog is a little behind schedule.

Anyway, I hope you all had a lovely Easter and continue to follow me on my baking journey.

Thanks for all your support and well wishes,
The Naughty Dietitian.

Decadent Chocolate Brownies Gluten Free

Gluten Free Decadent Chocolate Brownies

With Easter just around the corner there is no better time to make these Gluten Free Decadent Chocolate Brownies! They’re truly the BEST gluten free brownies I have EVER tasted and make for a fabulous Easter gift.

The original recipe comes from Kirsten Tibballs “Chocolate” Cookbook which I slightly modified and adapted to be gluten free. I also need to give credit to my husband for making this week’s recipe. He has been nothing short of amazing lately, cooking, cleaning and caring for both Lyla and myself while I’ve been struck down with a back injury.

Fingers crossed I will be on the mend soon and back in the kitchen!

Passionfruit Cream Biscuits Gluten Free

Gluten Free Passionfruit Cream Biscuits

This week I made these Gluten Free Passionfruit Cream Biscuits which have been on my “to bake” list since October last year! They were positively delicious and a nice change from standard vanilla cream biscuits.

The original recipe comes from “The Afternoon Tea Collection” from the Australian Women’s Weekly that I then modified to be gluten free. I actually received the cookbook for my birthday last year and I’ve wanted to make a gluten free version of their recipe ever since.

The great thing about this recipe is that you can usually buy canned passionfruit pulp when passionfruit isn’t in season.

Gluten Free Jersey Caramels

Gluten Free Jersey Caramels

These Gluten Free Jersey Caramels are truly addictive and to be honest, probably one of the reasons I don’t make them too often!

I decided to try making a batch a few years ago, given the store bought variety typically contain gluten. They were surprising simple to make and a great way to use up the excess fondant from our Wedding Cupcakes. This time around, I used leftover fondant from Lyla’s birthday cake and they tasted just as delicious!

The original recipe is from taste.com.au and I have my Mum to thank for my Jersey Caramels addiction.
