Gluten Free Chai Spiced Banana Bread

Gluten Free Chai Spiced Banana Bread

If you like chai tea or chai flavouring and banana bread, then you will love this Gluten Free Chai Spiced Banana Bread! The bread is super moist with a great balance of chai spices and banana flavour. I also love the look of the loaf with the sliced banana on top and the added texture of walnuts. Just talking about it makes me annoyed there isn’t any left!

If you’re wanting to spice up the classic banana bread recipe, this is a simple but tasty option. Perfect for morning or afternoon tea, or anytime really. Oh and if you’re not such a fan of chai spices how about my Gluten Free Mixed Berry Banana Bread?

Thanks for checking out my new recipe!

Gluten Free Mixed Berry Banana Bread

Gluten Free Mixed Berry Banana Bread

I will admit this Gluten Free Mixed Berry Banana Bread is one of the healthier options on my blog (apart from my strawberry banana raspberry muffins). I previously shared a recipe for a raspberry and pistachio banana bread, however I decided to replace the recipe and photo on the weekend with this mixed banana bread as I was fresh out of pistachios. In the end, I discovered that I prefer this version of my banana bread and found my daughter Lyla did too!

The recipe is easy to make and the banana bread will last for three-four days if kept in a air tight container. You can serve it fresh, toasted or warmed up with butter or margarine. I personally prefer it fresh in the first two days then warmed up after that. What about your preferences for serving? Leave a comment below.

Banana Puddings with Butterscotch Sauce – Gluten Free

Gluten Free Banana Puddings with Butterscotch Sauce

The winter weather has arrived in Melbourne which means it’s time for pudding, this Gluten Free Banana Puddings with Butterscotch sauce to be exact! These gluten free puddings are a great dessert to share with friends or just because you like bananas.

Like a lot of my recipes, you can easily substitute the gluten free flour for normal flour if you don’t need to follow a gluten free diet. Be sure to warm the puddings up and serve with a scoop of ice cream. If you run out of ice cream, a dollop of cream also goes nicely.

How about you give them a try this weekend? Feel free to share your baking efforts with me by tagging me on my Instagram account or Facebook page. Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks for reading.

Gluten Free Strawberry Banana Muffins

Gluten Free Strawberry Banana Muffins

Last week with an abundance of strawberries I baked these Gluten Free Strawberry Banana Muffins. They are low fat, packed with fibre and low in sugar. Perfect with my cup of tea this week!

I also baked the first recipe I ever posted on my blog – Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Gluten Free. I was reminded of how much I love rhubarb and pie, but really, who doesn’t love pie?!

I’d love to hear if you bake these strawberry banana muffins or my strawberry rhubarb pie. Thanks for stopping by The Naughty Dietitian

Banana and Raspberry Muffins Gluten Free

Banana and Raspberry Muffins Gluten Free

Over the past few weeks The Naughty Dietitian has been a little neglected but I’m back, and I’ve got some Gluten Free Banana and Raspberry Muffins to show you! I would love to say I was too busy baking to share recipes with you all but sadly I just haven’t had time.

Getting back into the kitchen this week though I decided it was probably time to bake something a little healthier. Now I’ve probably lost a few points for choosing a healthy option but these muffins really are tasty. Bonus for being low fat, low in added sugar and full of fruit and fibre.

Thanks for reading!
