In the spirit of Halloween I decided to make this Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie last weekend!
For those unfamiliar with Pumpkin Pie, it’s a traditional sweet dessert made in the United States and Canada at Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas time.
Now one of my favourites, I thought I should share my recipe for Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie with you all. I could seriously eat it all year round!

After numerous birthday parties, a wedding, baby shower and even an ice skating competition, I finally bring to you a new recipe, Gluten Free Persian Love Cake.
I stumbled across this cake in a cafe a few years ago and immediately went in search for the recipe. I can honestly say I have never tasted a cake quite like this one.
So I decided to make it last week for my boss’s birthday because a) I wanted to make something other than your stock standard chocolate cake and b) it tastes great.
Thanks for reading and let me know what you think if you end up baking it?!
Six months ago I got hooked on coffee so in honour of my new found tastebuds and for all coffee lovers out there, I made these Gluten Free Chocolate Espresso Brownies.
My caffeine addiction started one weekend with Jesse and I strolling down to our local cafe to taste their signature iced coffee. I loved the iced coffee so much I thought I should see what their lattes were like. Now… we stroll down every Saturday for a latte.
Anyway, back to these Chocolate Espresso Brownies. They’re super moist and have the perfect ratio of chocolate and caffeine. If you’re a non-coffee drinker I promise you will also LOVE them! The double chocolate in these brownies is bound to win you over.
I also must credit Donna Hay and Nespresso for the original recipe I adapted to be Gluten Free!

I made this Gluten Free Chocolate and Salted Caramel Layer Cake for Jesse’s birthday on the weekend. You see, Birthdays have always been an important event in my family. Celebrations over lunch/dinner with presents and cake are a must. Just like Christmas it’s not about the presents, but we love a good good excuse to show our loved ones how special they are.
So naturally when Jesse and I started going out (aka dating) I felt the need to show him how you really celebrate a birthday. In the past this has included gifts like lego and a Playstation for the child at heart; but most importantly, a new birthday cake each year.
Last year it was a lemon curd cheesecake but this year it’s all about Salted Caramel!
Do you have any birthday traditions?

After a few busy weeks I finally got back into the kitchen on the weekend and made a this Gluten Free Lemon Curd Slice. It’s a gluten free version of Meyer lemon bars, or “slice” as we call it in Australia. These bite size treats have been on my todo/bake list for a while now and they didn’t disappoint.
If you like the tangy sweetness of lemon curd you might also like the Lemon Curd Cheesecake I made for Jesse’s birthday last year or these Lime Lamingtons I made for Australia Day with a lime curd filling.
Hope you had a lovely weekend. Thanks for stopping by.
